I Like Sniffing Bottoms, well, that came from watching my dog sniff my cat's bum one Friday night, after unwinding with a glass of wine or two. Silly rhymes, lots of giggles and next thing I know, I'm singing my story. The next day, I had an earworm the whole time I was formatting the picture book, so I downloaded a music writing program and put that little ditty on paper. I shared my melody with my choir director and after she told me that her and her husband had that tune stuck in their heads all day, I decided to record myself singing the story to include in the audiobook edition.
My kids pretty much peer pressured me to put the song on Spotify, so on top of learning a sheet music writing program, I also learnt how to release a single and distribute it. And why stop at Spotify? You can now hear me singing about sniffing bottoms absolutely everywhere!
