Freeding on the go

Hey Everyone!

I often read a few books at the same time. At the moment I'm in the middle of a couple of 500+ page books (perfect for the Baby Got Book challenge). I decided to take a little break today and rest my ears (both of my other books are audiobooks). I was out of the house for a few hours and only had my phone on me, so I couldn't get to all the ebooks on my ereader. I jumped online and had a look through my dashboard shelf on Netgalley for inspiration. I remembered that I had a novella there that would be perfect. Clicked on "send to kindle", opened my kindle app on my phone and there it was, ready to read. This is what I read:

Unlucky for SomeUnlucky for Some by Carla Caruso
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was the second book I've read by this author. This is a novella, so easy to read in one sitting.

The characters were likable and relatable. The storyline was fun with a bit of romance. The main character was quite superstitious and throughout the story she reluctantly challenged her superstitions.

The other book I've read by this author is:

A Pretty MessA Pretty Mess by Carla Caruso
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was the first book I've read by this author. It's set in a fictional upper class suburb of Adelaide in South Australia. I went into this book expecting chick lit and found a fun blend of cosy mystery and romance. I found the characters relatable and likeable.

I received these books free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
